Luncheon to Benefit Flossie Lewis Center

LONG BEACH — The Flossie Lewis Center, which offers a recovery program, shelter, counseling and job training for women with alcoholism or drug addiction, will hold a benefit luncheon at noon Feb. 14 at the Viscount Hotel, 700 Queensway Drive.
Beverly O’Neill, president of Long Beach City College, will be the keynote speaker along with recovering addicts who will speak on “Recovering Women Making a Difference in Their Communities.”
Corporate and individual sponsors are sought. A table for 10 can be sponsored for $350. Individual tickets are $35. To make reservations, call the Flossie Lewis Center, 1112 Locust Ave., at 435-7350 or the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence of the South Bay Area at 328-1460.
