STATE : One Ticket Wins $14.8 Million

SACRAMENTO — One ticket had all six numbers drawn in Wednesday night’s “Lotto 6-53” game and claimed the $14.8-million jackpot, California Lottery officials said today.
The winning ticket was purchased in Colton, lottery officials said.
There were six tickets with five numbers plus the bonus number, each winning $111,273. Those tickets were purchased in San Rafael, Truckee, San Jose, San Francisco and two in Los Angeles.
There were 142 tickets with five of six numbers, each winning $4,710; 9,323 tickets with four of six numbers, worth $65 each, and 183,138 tickets with three of six numbers, each winning an automatic $5.
Sales from Saturday night to Wednesday’s drawing were $12.1 million, lottery officials said. The jackpot for next Saturday night’s drawing is estimated at $4 million.
