Arab Viewpoint of Gulf War

Khouri says Arabs have focused their anger on the West and its “foreign designs for the region.” It seems to me the only designs the West, and the rest of the world as exemplified in United Nations resolutions, have is the restoration of the sovereign nation of Kuwait. As for any Arab designs these “grass-roots” movements may offer, I can only speculate that such plans would renounce all international laws drawn by “foreign” bodies like the United Nations, remove all foreign interference except for those supplies of foreign-made bombs and munitions deemed useful for their favored government’s purposes and implant a more flexible law--the law of the jungle.
