Conaway Sentencing Delayed: Sentencing was postponed until March 8 for former “Taxi” co-star Jeff Conaway, who was convicted of a drunk-driving accident that seriously injured a bicyclist. Conway was convicted Jan. 14 in Santa Monica Superior Court of one count each of driving under the influence of alcohol causing serious injury, and driving with a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.08%. He faces up to three years in state prison. On Feb. 23, Conway was eastbound on Santa Monica Boulevard, near Maple Drive, when his Porsche sideswiped a bicyclist at 60 m.p.h., breaking the cyclist’s leg and causing a head cut.
