From the review of Susan Campo’s “Life After Death” by Bret Easton Ellis in your Dec. 2 issue:
“The writing is flat and precise yet vacuous and prone toward purposely unenlightening generalities and overly explicit ennui.

My question is, since when do you pay people to review their own works?
