Woman to Face Charges in Baby’s Suffocation

PEORIA, Ill — Authorities said they will charge a Peoria woman with involuntary manslaughter for allegedly suffocating her 2-month-old son by falling asleep on him while she was drunk last week.
Gloria Ann Draine, 30, also will face child neglect and child endangerment charges, as will the man who lives with her, Mark Talley, 46.
