Dr. Michael Perry Lundberg, 44, chief of staff at Scripps Memorial Hospital in Encinitas, Calif. Especially concerned with the elderly, he helped to create the Casa Palmera Care Center in Del Mar and served as its medical director. A graduate of UC Riverside and Chicago Medical School, he completed his internship and residency at County-USC Medical Center and served 14 months with the U.S. Antarctic Research Program in Antarctica. On Feb. 6 in Kona, Hawaii, of a heart attack.
