In another Southern Section boys’ playoff game:
Bishop Diego 68, Camp Kilpatrick 60--John McCoy scored a team-high 18 points to lead top-seeded Bishop Diego to a V-AA Division win at home.
Marlon Randolph scored a game-high 21 points for Camp Kilpatrick (20-7).
Bishop Diego, champion of the Tri-Valley League, improved to 23-4.
CITY SECTION GIRLS
Washington 71, North Hollywood 60--Charisse Sampson scored 10 of her game-high 28 points in the second quarter to help Washington make up a 14-10 first-quarter deficit in a 4-A Division semifinal at Santa Monica College.
Senior guard Jacinda Sweet scored 21 points and added seven rebounds for North Hollywood, which finished 23-5.
Huntington Park 55, Grant 42--Forwards Monique Young and Shenia Smith picked up their fourth fouls midway through the second half of the 3-A semifinal game at Birmingham. Grant (15-6) led, 22-18, at halftime, but was outscored, 22-11, in the fourth period.
