Travelodge Cuts Rates: Hit by the winter slump in tourism, the chain is offering spring-break discounts at two-thirds of motels and hotels. It is offering rates of $29.95 or lower at 300 of its motels and of $59.95 or lower at 30 of its hotels through April 30. Normal rates are $40 for the motels and $80 for the hotels.
