IMPRESS THE PRESS: A public relations company is supposed to get good stories for the client. But it was public relations man Frank Groff who wound up with nice ink in the current INC magazine, based on his work for the Costa Mesa firm Creative Design Consultants. . . . The magazine’s marketing columnist, Paul Brown, says PR firms “often haven’t a clue about what would interest the audience” they’re aiming for. But he says Groff came up with good ideas that got his client into business journals and The Times. And now, of course, into INC.
