The number of spills the county’s Hazardous Materials Team responded to in 1990 was nearly the same as in 1989, increasing only 1%. Anaheim, Orange and Santa Ana were the sites of the most incidents; all three also recorded increases from 1989. La Palma and Fountain Valley managed to escape calling out the HAZMAT team.
