The House of a Different Color--Laguna Design Panel Is Right

Re the letter to the editor from Allan and Paula Newson (Feb. 24) on the Laguna Beach Design Review Board and color: I too do not believe in a color code for housing, but I had to note with amusement the Newsons’ place of residence--Laguna Niguel. This town is characterized by row after row of cookie-cutter housing that carpets the hills and dales. Yes, color has to be a variable or else one cannot find one’s house after dark!
