Woman Found Stabbed to Death in Her Home

A 60-year-old woman was found stabbed to death inside her home, police said Friday. Hee Soon Cheng was found dead about 3 p.m. Thursday by her teen-age granddaughter who was returning from school to the home they shared at 8148 4th St. in Downey.
The victim, who was killed in her kitchen, had been stabbed numerous times, Lt. Steve Douglass said.
There were no obvious signs of a struggle and nothing appeared to have been taken from the home. Douglass said there no signs of forced entry.
