Viewer Says Channel 13 Unlucky for Those Watching Marathon
- Share via
The route for the L.A. Marathon has got to be organized so it does not cut off and isolate huge sections of town for the greater part of the day.
I live inside the circle of the race and could not make a five-minute trip in less than 45 minutes on the day of the race--highly and unnecessarily inconvenient.
In addition, alternate routes should be printed in the papers and the editors of The Times should remember that maps are usually printed with north at the top (the map in Saturday’s paper was laid on its side, with no directional arrows to help orientation).
