Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Charlie’s on the beach in Ventura with a dance-till-you-drop extravaganza featuring two Ventura bands. Raging Arb & the Redheads will headline, and the Mudheads will open.
The Mudheads are fronted by writer-singer-guitarist Bill Coffey. The Mudheads’ music is much like R.E.M., country and roots rock, and they perform all original works. Local legends Raging Arb & the Redheads will keep the dance floor packed from the moment they begin with an energetic rendition of “I’m A Man” until the final 20-minute version of “Not Fade Away.” In between will be plenty of rockin’, nasty rhythm-and-blues rockers, featuring mostly originals, plus a few selected covers.
The Mudheads will begin at 8 sharp. If you’re not there early, you probably won’t get in.
