SANTA ANA — A man who was shot to death as he stood outside a mobile home was identified by police Thursday as 30-year-old Harvey Glenn Linder of Stanton.
Linder was standing on the front porch of a mobile home in the 2800 block of West 1st Street when he was shot once in the head about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, police spokeswoman Maureen Haacker said.
Friends called paramedics, who took Linder to AMI Medical Center of Garden Grove, Haacker said. Linder died about an hour later.
Haacker said the shooting was not gang-related, but investigators said they did not know where the shot came from, nor do they know the motive. The gun has not been found and police have no suspects.
Haacker said an argument had occurred in the mobile home involving two or more men, but it was unclear whether Linder was part of it.
No one has been arrested.
