MOORPARK : Speech Team Is 2nd in State Tourney

Moorpark College’s speech team took second place Sunday in the California Community College Forensic Assn. state championship.
Thirty California community colleges competed in the event at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut. First place went to Orange Coast College.
The Moorpark College team will now prepare for the national competition March 31-April 6 in Costa Mesa. The team will be seeking its seventh national community college title.
