Laker forward James Worthy was fined $1,500 for initiating a fight with guard Sedale Threatt of the Seattle SuperSonics in Sunday’s game, the NBA office announced. Threatt was fined $1,000. In the game, Threatt was ejected for a punching foul, but no action was taken against Worthy.
