MGM-Pathe Case to Be Expedited: A U.S. District Court judge has agreed to expedite a hearing into a Chapter 7 involuntary bankruptcy petition against MGM-Pathe Communications Co. The court indicated that a hearing date will be established next week and that any appeals will be acted upon by May 28. Creditors claiming to be owed more than $10 million are seeking the ruling against the entertainment company.
