Herald-Tribune Stake Sold: The Washington Post Co. and the New York Times Co. have bought the one-third interest held by Whitcom Investment Co. in the International Herald-Tribune, a Paris-based newspaper distributed worldwide. The Post and the Times now each own 50% of the Herald-Tribune. The purchase price for Whitcom’s one-third interest was not disclosed.
