Youth Fatally Shot During Gang Fight

An 18-year-old youth was shot and killed early Saturday during a confrontation between two rival gangs in North Hollywood, Los Angeles police said.
Sgt. Mike McKean said Holberth Rauda was standing among several young men in the 6900 block of Hinds Avenue when four to six carloads of gang members drove up and confronted them around 12:30 a.m.
A fight erupted and several shots were fired, one of which struck Rauda in the upper torso, McKean said.
It was unclear whether Rauda was a gang member.
Rauda was transported to Northridge Hospital Medical Center, where he died at 5:30 a.m., McKean said.
No arrests had been made.
