Two teen-age brothers were shot and critically wounded by a drive-by assailant early Sunday, San Diego sheriff’s deputies said.
Jaime Orozco, 19, and Lorenzo Orozco, 17, were shot while standing on the front lawn of their parents’ Vista home at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, deputies said.
The attack occurred after what deputies called an “altercation” a few blocks away moments earlier. Other details were sketchy, deputies said.
Both brothers remained in critical condition late Sunday at Palomar Medical Center in Escondido, a nursing supervisor said.
