Employees Want Nordstrom Union Booted: A group of the department store chain’s employees asked the National Labor Relations Board for an election to decertify the United Food and Commercial Workers Union as bargaining agent for Seattle-area employees. Nordstrom Employees Opposed to Union Representation said it collected 660 signatures for its petition. The group was required to obtain signatures from at least a third of the 1,800 employees represented by the union.
