Continental Airlines Retracts Mandate: The carrier retracted a new rule that required women employees to wear makeup and offered to rehire a woman fired for refusing to put on lipstick. Continental Chairman Hollis Harris said the airline made a mistake and is offering a public apology to Teresa Fishette, a ticket agent at Logan International Airport in Boston who was fired this month.
