William E. Wilsoncroft, a psychology professor at Cal State Northridge since 1966, has died at his Chatsworth home. He was 54.
Wilsoncroft was found dead at his home on May 7. He died of complications of heart disease, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s officials.
A 1960 graduate of Muskingum College in New Concord, Ohio, Wilsoncroft earned his master’s degree in 1963 and his doctorate in 1965, both from Claremont Graduate School in Claremont. He started teaching psychology at CSUN in 1966 and most recently taught a senior-level course on sensation and perception, university officials said. Wilsoncroft had also served as historian of the Western Psychological Assn.
He has no immediate survivors.
Services are private. Gates, Kingsley & Gates Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
