Brown Countdown: Rapper M. C. Hammer and vocalists Bell Biv DeVoe and En Vogue joined soul singer James Brown on Tuesday at the Hard Rock Cafe to announce that they would make “special” appearances on the R&B; veteran’s pay-per-view cable event Monday. “James Brown--Living in America” is Brown’s first live performance since being released from jail Feb. 28. It will be broadcast from the Wiltern Theatre starting at 6 p.m.
