Italy’s Juventus soccer team will play Luis Angel Firpo of El Salvador tonight at the Coliseum at 8:30.
Juventus is on a three-game tour of North America, having finished seventh among 18 teams this season. Juventus played a scoreless game with the U.S. national team at New Haven, Conn., Sunday and will meet a Mexican team June 14 at Leon, Mexico.
Eight of Juventus’ players, including captain-goalie Stefano Tacconi, are members of the national team. Center-forward Paolo Di Canio and midfielder Eugenio Corino are members of the under-23 national team for the 1992 Olympics. Two of Juventus’ best players, Salvatore Schillaci and Roberto Baggio, are not with the team for this tour.
