Man, 27, Gets 8 Years for Molesting Girl

A 27-year-old Sepulveda man who molested a 13-year-old girl and beat her with a broomstick was sentenced to eight years in state prison Tuesday.
San Fernando Superior Court Judge Howard Schwab sentenced Felix Saban to the maximum sentence possible.
The girl was visiting a friend at an apartment building in the 14000 block of Nordhoff Street on April 27 when Saban and two juveniles forced her into Saban’s apartment, Deputy Dist. Atty. Linda B. Greenberg said.
Saban molested the girl, then beat her with a broomstick when she screamed, Greenberg said. Saban was arrested in his apartment later that evening.
The cases against the two juveniles are pending.
