BACKGROUND: In March, View reported on Secret Saucer Base Expeditions, a loosely knit group that regularly scans the sky for UFOs near Nellis Air Force Bombing and Gunnery Range in Nevada.
UPDATE: A complaint has been filed with the U.S. attorney’s office in Los Angeles alleging that a military CH-53 helicopter tried to run a saucer watcher’s car off the road. Gary Schultz, head of the group, and other UFO enthusiasts said the buzzing incident, which was partially captured on videotape, occurred last month as a caravan returned through the Tikaboo Valley. Military officials did not return phone calls from The Times. The U.S. Attorney’s office said only that all complaints filed are investigated.
WHAT’S NEXT: Schultz and others say they will continue to visit the remote site they say is rich in UFO activity.
