3-D DUKE: More than 200,000 pairs of 3-D glasses went on sale at Orange County 7-Eleven stores for tonight’s airing of the John Wayne movie “Hondo,” and the Leukemia Society of America stands to make up to $5 million off the proceeds. . . . Promoters say the glasses sold out in Houston, but the Southern California TV market is more competitive, so they will do well to sell half their shades here. . . . The Duke’s 3-D 1953 Western will air locally at 8 on Channel 5, but don’t plan to videotape it. Transfer of 3-D to home videotape “works, but not very well,” said a station spokesman.
