Lakers Watch, Wait for 52nd Draft Pick

The Lakers, with only a No. 2 pick--No. 52 of the 54--will be spectators until the last 15 minutes of today’s draft unless General Manager Jerry West makes a trade.
West has been shopping for a backup point guard. He would be interested in a backup shooting guard, too.
The Lakers’ No. 1 pick went to Golden State for Terry Teagle, the present backup shooting guard.
