Perceptronics Delivers Simulator Prototypes: Perceptronics Inc. has completed initial performance tests on two new computer simulator systems, and prototypes have been delivered to the U.S. Air Force and a large German defense company. The company declined to disclose the value of the two contracts. One simulator is designed to be used for military truck-driver training and was developed by Perceptronics and FAAC Inc. of Ann Arbor, Mich., for Wegmann & Co., a German defense concern. The other simulator is a high-tech mannequin, or dummy, designed to replace humans during tests of military aircraft and vehicle armor.
