Group Seeks to Revive Eastern Airlines: Charles Miller, a spokesman for Airline Acquisition Corp., a private group, said it plans to start a new airline from the remnants of Eastern Airlines and has already raised some of the necessary cash from investors in Mexico and the Middle East. Miller said the carrier will be called “New Eastern” and will be based in Atlanta, where Miami-based Eastern had a large hub. Eastern ceased flying in January. Miller declined to identify the foreign investors but said that Lehman Bros. has been hired as the group’s financial adviser.
