Times Mirror Official Named VP of Community Psychiatric Centers

Suzanne S. Hovdey has been appointed to the new post of vice president of corporate and investor relations for Community Psychiatric Centers Inc., a Laguna Hills operator of a chain of acute psychiatric hospitals.
She is currently director of corporate communications for Times Mirror Co., publisher of the Los Angeles Times.
She begins her job with CPS on July 22.
Before joining Times Mirror, she was director of corporate communications, investor relations and editorial services functions for American Medical International Inc., a Beverly Hills hospital management firm.
She has also been an account executive and publicist with two Los Angeles-based public relations agencies.
