PAL Team Eliminated

The San Diego Police Athletic League girls under-12 select basketball team was eliminated from the National Junior Olympics in Cincinnati Wednesday when it lost, 61-49, to Maryland in a losers’ bracket game. Three San Diego girls scored in double figures: Jamie Broussard, 14; Richelle Perkins, 10; and Juliette DeCarlo, 10.
