Remember the “Little Deuce Coup,” the “409,” T-birds, woodies and ‘vettes?

More than 300 of these classic, dreamboat ‘50s cars, plus coupes and trucks from the ‘30s and ‘40s, all in mint condition, will be displayed Saturday in two car shows in the San Gabriel Valley.

“Romancing the Classics” begins at 8 a.m. on the Arcadia High School parking lot, where more than 100 Chevies, Fords, Packards, Hudsons and Studebakers will take the spotlight.

Promoter Wayne Williams is featuring the cars in a music video being filmed that day. The Arcadia High School Pep Squad will also star in a sock hop number. The school pep squad will receive proceeds from the event.
