Huntington Beach Outlaws Advance in Softball

The Huntington Beach Outlaws won the Pacific Coast regional 16-and-under softball title Sunday and qualified for the Amateur Softball Assn. national tournament next month in Chattanooga, Tenn.
Stefanie Noffsinger, who will be a sophomore at Huntington Beach High School in September, was credited with each of the Outlaws’ five victories in the regional tournament in Santa Maria. Noffsinger pitched a four-hitter in a 2-1 victory over the Twin Creeks Diamonds in the championship game.
The Outlaws will play for the ASA title Aug. 8-11 in Chattanooga.
