Steve Salerno’s article on workers’ compensation abuse was right on (“The Tube,” June 23).
At a time when California is in a budget crisis and is rapidly becoming too expensive for people to live here and do business, we need to awaken to the fact that these phony nuisance cases have only one effect--to force businesses to raise the costs of their goods and services to those who are not benefiting from the “Larry-Parker-got-me-$2.1-million” syndrome.
