Going Fishing: Director Terry Gilliam’s “The Fisher King” has been selected as the official U.S. entry to the Venice International Film Festival. The film, starring Jeff Bridges and Robin Williams, will hold its world premiere in Venice on Sept. 10. Twenty films from around the world will compete for the Golden Lion award at the festival, which runs from Sept. 3-14.
