Conroy’s Victory

Conservative Mickey Conroy won the Republican nomination in the Orange County 67th Assembly District election on July 23. The voters who believe in forced birth, government control of the individual, denial of confidentiality between doctor and patient and the National Rifle Assn. position of “let’s have everybody get a gun” mentality prevailed. But 83% of the voters did not go to the polls. Democracy dies when good people do nothing.
