CAMARILLO : Planners Approve Addition to Church

The Camarillo Planning Commission has approved modifications and the addition of 3,537 square feet to the sanctuary at the First Church of Christ, Scientist.
The facility at 380 Mission Drive is zoned for one-acre minimum parcels, said senior planner Robert Burrow. The church is on a lot that is less than one acre.
The commission also approved a request by HH Engineers to modify an office building at the northeast corner of Palm and West Chapel drives by adding a parking lot in the vacant area next to the building.
Other additions to the 3,256-square-foot structure would include landscaping and exterior design treatments.
