Woody Harrelson Stirs Up a Storm Over Gulf War

I applaud Harrelson for his conviction and commitment to an unpopular cause. As a conservative, hawk and avid Bush supporter, I strongly disagree with Harrelson’s political views. Yet his courage and determination reflect the basic principles that formed this great nation.

The true threat to this country is not the Woody Harrelsons or Ted Dansons. The scandalously unpatriotic are people (like those at Miller Beer and the Mardi Gras organizers, who cut their ties to Harrelson) who cower in the face of adversity or otherwise try to suppress one’s freedom of speech.
