Perry Column

The item about Pee-wee Herman in Tony Perry’s “San Diego at Large” (Aug. 2) is way off base. First of all, I cannot imagine that type of “joke” being in good taste at a “power” lunch. Secondly, Mr. Herman has not had his day in court and we are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. Thirdly, if Pee-wee did what the law officer said he did, he needs help, not ridicule. Give more thought to what you print, please.
Since I’ve been reading Perry’s column for quite some time and just now am finding fault with it, is he possibly experiencing a mid-life crisis?
