Police Seek Identity of Traffic Victim

ORANGE — An unidentified man who had been hit by a car died Sunday at UCI Medical Center, and officials Monday were still trying to find his family.
The man died at 6:23 p.m. of head injuries, Deputy Coroner Kurt Murine said. The man was unconscious and on life support systems after being struck Saturday in Anaheim at Lincoln and Euclid avenues.
At the time of the incident he was wearing blue jeans, a maroon leather belt, brown wrap-around sunglasses, light blue socks, white Reebok tennis shoes with red and blue trimmings, and a navy blue baseball cap with a patch embroidered with “Copeland” and a symbol of three Cs, according to hospital spokeswoman Elaine Beno.
The victim was 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighed about 160 pounds and was between 45 and 60 years old. Anyone with information about him is asked to call the coroner’s office at (714) 647-7400.
