Haggerty Hospitalized: Actor Dan Haggerty was reported in stable condition and showing improvement Monday at Cedars-Sinai where he is recovering from a motorcycle accident. Haggerty, a motorcycle collector, was riding a 1944 restored Harley Davidson when the accident involving a truck occurred Friday afternoon in Canoga Park. He was scheduled to leave Saturday for Grants Pass, Ore., to start work on a new film, “The Mark of the Bear.” Haggerty suffered a broken right leg and ankle, multiple fractures and a hip injury. He was not wearing a helmet, according to his publicist.
