Body of Shooting Victim Found in Trash Dumpster

The body of a man who had been shot to death was found in a trash dumpster at a school in West Covina, authorities said Monday.
A police officer found the dead man, identified as Willie Sams, 41, of West Covina, at Edgewood Middle School at 1625 W. Durness St. about 11:30 p.m. Sunday, Sheriff’s Sgt. Noel Lanier said.
No motive was disclosed in the slaying, and no arrests had been made.
