The Tampa Bay Buccaneers claimed rookie running back Chuck Weatherspoon, who was put on waivers Monday by Philadelphia.
Weatherspoon, the Eagles’ ninth-round draft choice from La Habra High School, finished his college career at Houston as the Cougars’ all-time leading rusher with 3,247 yards.
