The latest name change in Van Nuys has us wondering if our elected city officials are providing leadership or followship.
Lost in the results of border areas of Van Nuys changing their name to Sherman Oaks is the negative message it relays to those remaining residents of Van Nuys.
If our elected officials had the best interests of our community at heart, they would have worked toward improving conditions in Van Nuys rather than allowing themselves to be so easily manipulated into such an obviously self-serving action.
