Union Warning: Marla Gibbs and two other members of the cast of “One Monkey Don’t Stop No Show” at the Pantages Theatre will be subject to charges at union hearings if they continue performing in the non-union show, according to a letter sent by Actors’ Equity Thursday to the show’s producer, Barry Hankerson, and the three actors. Although Gibbs is not an Equity member, she is a member of the Screen Actors Guild, and the actors’ unions have reciprocal agreements governing the actions of their members in labor disputes.
