L.A. Baptist 36, Lancaster Bethel Christian 0--Senior quarterback Dane Brown threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score to lead the Knights at Monroe High.
Brown, who completed nine of 21 passes for 241 yards, threw touchdown passes of 38 and 80 yards to sophomore Jim Romero.
Mike Degl’Innocenti, the game’s leading rusher with 36 yards, scored the Knights’ first touchdown on an eight-yard run in the first quarter. Matt Hernandez capped the scoring with a 17-yard run in the fourth quarter.
